The KAASKAS brand was created out of love for beautiful and unique objects – ones that can uplift our daily mood and stay in our wardrobes for longer. Established in 2014 by two sisters – fashion designer Kasia Skórzyńska and sociologist Julia Skórzyńska-Ślusarek, it grew popular thanks to its iconic and original print design, unobvious colour combinations and edgy looks.
The brand quickly gained a number of returning clientele – self conscious women in search for quality, originality and inspiration in the fashion industry. We want our products to be like favourite objects – ones you approach with great care and you would not want to lose.
KAASKAS is open for special collaborations. We work with polish cultural institutions and different polish companies on individual projects. If interested, please get in touch with us.
KAASKAS pieces are designed to have a longer lifespan than the average clothing item. We want people to cherish our unique items and to wear them over and over incorporating them daily into their wardrobe. They are not designed to be relevant only for a season and certainly not made to last this short.
We mainly produce in Italy, in a manufactory participating in the 4sustainability program, certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Seri.co and GOTS certification. We also cooperate with local subcontractors based around Warsaw and Silesia. Thanks to that, we know exactly how and where our products are made and minimise the need for transport and shipments. Operating on a local scale and maintaining high quality, controlled and fairly priced production is truly our priority.
Our print designs are applied on fabrics using digital printing technique, which in comparison to traditional wet printing, is more environmentally friendly by reducing fabric and water waste. Additionally, it provides the option of small runs of production.
